well im sure there are more but these two things have been brought to my attention today.
1. Communism. why were the modernists so flirtatious with communism? i understand that they had some problems with anti-colonialism, workers unions and integration, but communism? did they really think that would solve things? i'll give you a hint, go to the south side of chicago on cicero rd. and look at the old projects that are boarded up and look like dumps and tell me that communism was a good idea.
2. Disk golf/ frizbee golf. who the craps idea was this anyway? not only is it ridiculously difficult but it is ridiculously boring. you just walk around searching for your frizbee because you can't throw straight while the guys are off in their own little world of frizbee fantasy making bets on who will get the most "holes in one" into those goofy little baskets thingys. It is a bad date, it is a bad activity, it is a useless pastime.
Im terribly sorry to those of you who have communist tendencies or enjoy the sport of disc golf. My thoughts are with you.
