Here we are, Teaching majors who have interacted minimally and we are chatting like old friends about my dating endeavors and her love of weddings and what kind of ring I want and lalalala. It's kind of great I won't lie.
Then she sees my Pinterest. What is that! Just an absolutely marvelous online idea board where you can keep all the beautiful things you love in one spot. I'm obsessed with discovering new beautiful things and stealing others' and posting them to my own own board. Naturally it is full of unotainable objects and idealistic quotes, but what would you post?
Lastly-update for Dr.Dean
The dating process is going very well :) My homework is suffering, his homework is failing, we rarely get anything done but make delicious foods and have far too many conversations about the future that scare us both. We are perfectly happy :)
This really was a very happy moment for me. It's true, we spend all this time in class together, but we hardly know each other. That is awful. I enjoyed getting to know you and learning about pinterest from you. Imagine all the cool things we could find if our whole class got together to show all the hidden treasures they have. Wow, that would be one fun teacher party.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad the dating is going well (and the food part!). It's the nature of life that often when something is going well, something else will suffer. Homework doesn't have feelings, so I think it's okay to suffer. . . now and then. :)
