Tucked in a Rocky bank,
a snails’ shell wedged—a treasure
of life, and death
Yellow blanket laid
in the tepid grass of evening
catching yellow thorns
Man,
Two feet Balanced on the rocks;
A boy skipping stones.
Wispy clouds settle in,
Uninvited white space,
Crowding the night sky
Snow crushed, a bush;
Green arms, green hands, green feet
Clinging to the porch rail rungs
