toothache

so I have a toothache...i don't even know what to do about it. What can one do about it really? its your teeth here people!
also, I burned my cheeks and nosey for an amazing reason today! IT WAS SUNNY! wow what a glorious bright sunshiney day! truly one of the best sunshines Ive seen in weeks! my face looks a little off....but really whats new right? oooh that was far too mean on myself- I have a lovely face!
in other news, this is my latest obsession, this is the chorus in Jean Anouilh's play Antigone (an adaptation from the greek) talking about tragedy
Antigone By Jean Anouilh (translated by Lewis Galantiere)
"Death, treason, and sorrow are on the march; and they move in the wake of storm, of tears, of stillness. Every kind of stillness. The hush when the executioner's ax goes up at the end of the last act. The unbreathable silence when, at the beginning of the play, the two lovers, their hearts bared, their bodies naked, stand for the first time face to face in the darkened room, afraid to stir. The silence inside you when the roaring crowd acclaims the winner--so that you think of a film without a sound track, mouths agape and no sound coming out of them, a clamor that is no more that a picture; and you, the victor, already vanquished, alone in the desert of your silence. That is tragedy. Tragedy is clean, it is restful, it is flawless."

wow, I can't explain to you how gorgeous this is to me. The victor, already vanquished. This isn't even despair, this is admitted defeat. This is complete resignation that doesn't hurt but is more of a dull pound. This is something I can not even fathom. Vanquished, what a fantastical word. Gorgeous.
 Clean, restful, flawless
